Hood River Wedding Vendors

On August 19th, 2024, I had the pleasure of joining Baylee Olson from Silk and Salt Events for a beautifully crafted styled shoot at The Hood River Heritage Farms. This collaboration highlighted the talent and creativity of Hood River’s top wedding vendors and showcased the unique character of weddings in the Columbia Gorge. The property, owned by a local florist, is nestled in a wooded area that allowed for the perfect balance of light and shade—a dream for any wedding photographer in Hood River.

With a soft pastel color palette inspired by late summer hues, we created an elegant yet natural scene. The lighting was perfect, softly filtered through the trees in a way that added warmth to every shot, accentuating the ceremony space and table displays. The ceremony area was set against the backdrop of a towering tree, making for a stunning focal point for the alter. This setup offered the ideal blend of rustic charm and sophistication that many brides-to-be in Hood River seek for their weddings.

Working alongside Baylee and other talented local vendors allowed us to seamlessly integrate each element, from the floral arrangements to the table décor. The floral design, curated by the florist owner of Hood River Heritage Farms, was full of locally sourced blooms that complemented the season and the surrounding natural beauty. It’s truly a privilege to work with Hood River vendors who understand how to weave the natural landscape into their art.
